Finance Associate Location:
New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in the office) Responsibilities
Oversee complex private equity funds, including multiple investment vehicles and co-investments. Prepare and review quarterly trial balances, financial statements, and supporting workpapers in collaboration with fund administrators. Review capital allocations, contributions, distributions, and carried interest calculations. Assist with audit preparation and investor performance reporting. Support investor relations by responding to requests and compiling performance data. Collaborate on portfolio valuations and ensure compliance with industry standards. Participate in technology and process improvement initiatives. Handle ad hoc requests and cross-departmental projects as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required. 2-5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, private equity fund administration, or private equity accounting. Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statements, and fund operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with relevant accounting systems is a plus. Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Compensation
$100,000–$145,000, with additional incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
