Overview
Insurance Agent (Base salary + Uncapped commissions). We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in the Greater Boston/Somerville office. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in-person relationship building in the community. This position has in-office requirements. Pay information
The base pay range is $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr. The typical training salary is $55k - $65k. Through a combination of base, bonuses, and uncapped commissions, typical total first year compensation ranges from $55k - $75k, with potential for top performers to earn over $100k in their first year. Responsibilities
Build and leverage a strong local network and in-person relationships in the community. Connect members with insurance solutions to meet their needs, including Auto, Home, and Life products from top national and regional carriers. Sell insurance solutions with in-office, community-based engagement. Qualifications
Preferred Experience : Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers. Licensing : A state insurance license—or willingness to earn one with training and support—in Property & Casualty, and Life. Required Skills : Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills; well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships; effective time management and organizational skills; ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines; ability to find, build and grow leads and customer base.
