Serve assigned projects as the focal point for all EMI test activities. Contribute to engineering program pursuits and bid estimates; capture EMI and power input requirements; prepare and review test plans, procedures, and reports. Generate repeatable test procedures and physical test setups with appropriate data recording, using military and commercial standards. Coordinate and schedule in-house testing and assist with outsourcing as needed. Validate laboratory test setups and methods for compliance with procedures and standards. Interface with project engineers to support qualification activities; generate Qualification by Similarity (QBS) analyses. Assist engineers with data gathering for ad-hoc EMI evaluations outside of the lab. Provide general laboratory support: deploy, implement, troubleshoot test equipment and software; generate/test documentation; conduct root-cause analyses; train technicians; identify equipment needs. Collaborate with Calibration, Procurement/Acquisition services to ensure timely calibration and to identify equipment and consumables; manage rental test equipment when needed. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience. Circuit board design experience including schematic capture tools and guidance to PCB layout designers. Working knowledge of EM/circuit simulation tools. Qualifications We Prefer

Hands-on troubleshooting using engineering lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.). Experience with military aerospace testing standards (DO-160; MIL-STD-461; MIL-STD-704). Experience in RF hardware development life cycle including requirements capture, design, integration and testing. Willingness to pursue/obtain iNARTE certification. Excellent communication skills; ability to write technical material and present to customers and management. Self-directed with ability to meet cost, schedule and performance objectives with minimal oversight. Active DoD Secret Clearance preferred. What We Offer
