Quantitative Developer – New York or Miami - Multi-Billion Dollar Hedge Fund - Up to $600k TC We are partnering with a leading global investment platform to identify a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join one of their internal systematic investment teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing researcher workflows, enabling portfolio managers and analysts to optimize their time on alpha generation and production strategies. As a Quantitative Developer, you will: Build processes that generalize onboarding and enrichment of new datasets into the firm’s database. Develop a suite of generalized data validation tests and metrics. Apply tests across all datasets on the platform, prioritizing and reporting results daily. Implement tools to facilitate capturing research processes and results, including MLOps. Enhance backtesting and researcher workflows to run at scale. What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) — strong preference for C++ and Java. Advanced Python development skills. Strong understanding of computer science design patterns. Solid financial domain knowledge, particularly in research workflows. Familiarity with MLOps tools. Experience with KDB+ and Linux is a plus. Exposure to AWS, orchestration/scheduling tools, and related technologies desirable. Proven track record of ownership and delivering impactful results. The Culture
