We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the Core AI team. The team’s charter is to enable AI transformation and product growth in the most cost-efficient way possible. This role will be responsible for business health for Microsoft's AI products. Responsibilities Publish executive-grade monthly and quarterly financial and operational summaries including insights to highlight risks and opportunities impacting bottom lines in a timely manner. Drive reviews with executive leadership, clearly communicating results and providing recommendations. Lead the monthly Leadership Team (SLT) metrics workstream, collaborating with Corporate Strategy and other finance teams to deliver performance metrics that effectively demonstrate the organization’s cost efficiency to external stakeholders. Manage financial health through defined OKRs and P&L from internal tools. Flag risks and opportunities thereof. Articulate findings into high-quality communications and facilitate executive decision making across engineering, marketing, and finance executive leaders. Partner across finance orgs, including revenue, controllership, product health to drive results. Continuously improve and evolve COGS and Gross Margin insights garnered through financial results and KPIs with the goal of influencing/impacting business positively and with crisp storytelling. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience 4+ years of FP&A experience 2+ years creating executive-level presentations that translate complex financial analysis into clear business narratives Additional Or Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of relevant experience with progressive advancement within your discipline Partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence business partners without direct authority and to appropriately push back when required Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving technology and business model trends Deep understanding of the technology industry, particularly commercial public and private cloud services, business models and economics Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive-level oral and written communication skills Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high-value/high-impact project results Demonstrate analytical skills, financial modeling capabilities, and ability to think strategically Compensation and benefits Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations; for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area the base pay range is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
