We are looking for a highly experienced NTN-RF Integration Lead Engineer with comprehensive expertise in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), Satellite Communications (LEO/MEO/GEO), Wireless RAN/Core systems, and IoT connectivity technologies. This role involves full lifecycle integration, testing, and validation of complex hybrid networks. Your role

NTN & Satellite Communications Integration: Lead integration of 5G and IoT platforms over satellite networks (LEO/MEO/GEO). Design and validate RF gateway solutions for hybrid terrestrial-satellite connectivity. RF Engineering & Gateway Deployment: Configure and troubleshoot RF chains, satellite modems, and antennas. Perform spectrum analysis, antenna alignment, and RF diagnostics in field environments. Ensure compliance with regulatory and spectrum usage standards. Wireless RAN & Core Network Integration: Integrate and validate 4G/5G RAN components (gNB/eNB) with Core Network (EPC/5GC). Perform interoperability testing between terrestrial RAN and NTN backhaul. Configure and troubleshoot network functions including AMF, SMF, UPF, and IMS. Support slicing, QoS, and mobility features across hybrid networks. Field Testing & Validation: Plan and execute field trials for NTN-enabled 5G and IoT systems. Capture and analyze KPIs such as latency, throughput, jitter, and handover success. Use tools like drive test kits, protocol analyzers, and RF measurement equipment. System-Level Testing & Automation: Develop and execute test plans for integration, regression, and performance testing. Automate test cases and reporting using scripting and orchestration tools. Validate end-to-end functionality across hardware, firmware, and software layers. Customer Coordination: Act as technical lead during deployments, PoCs, and customer trials. Translate customer requirements into engineering deliverables and solutions. Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers during deployment and testing phases. Provide technical support and documentation tailored to customer needs. Interface with product and network engineering teams to relay field insights, architecture discussions Your skills and experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. 10+ years of experience in wireless communications, with strong focus on NTN, SATCOM, and 5G RAN/Core systems. Deep understanding of RF principles, satellite link budgets, and 3GPP standards. Strong understanding of RF principles, network protocols, and system integration. Hands-on experience with SATCOM hardware, 5G RAN (gNB), and Core Network functions. Knowledge of virtualization (NFV), SDN, and cloud-native network functions. Good to have Certifications in RF, satellite systems, or 5G technologies. Life at Capgemini
