Overview
Customer Experience Assistant, Sales - San Francisco, CA. Our Customer Experience Assistants provide an exceptional experience for Brilliant Earth customers. They assist customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line, meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment, and create personalized experiences while sharing the happiest moments of our customers\' lives. This role is in-person in our San Francisco showroom. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule of Friday - Tuesday. The targeted budget for this position is $24/hour. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service: Utilize sales strategies and problem-solving to assist and guide customers through purchasing decisions, including ring settings selections and diamond options.
Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process to create a memorable luxury experience.
Guide customers to purchase, creating personalized experiences for each customer.
Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to attain individual and team goals and revenue targets.
Respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chats and phone calls while maintaining a luxury customer experience.
Develop product knowledge related to diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
Conduct post-sale appointments for pick-ups, exchanges, resizing, and other inquiries.
Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer pre-appointment questions.
Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews to continuously improve the customer experience and sales performance.
Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate cross-functionally.
Act as a brand advocate, sharing the mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.
Showroom Coordination & Maintenance
Maintain luxury showroom appearance, cleanliness, and organization, including merchandising guidelines.
Serve as liaison for facilities maintenance projects, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs as needed.
Receive and send product from distribution center, customers, and external vendors; reconcile inventory in the system.
Enforce policies in the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience and maintain product security.
Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.

Strong communication skills, clear and concise in person, via email, or chat.
Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach to transforming the jewelry industry.
Bonus Points if You Have
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
Experience with an ERP or CRM system
