Under the supervision of the Assistant Deputy Director, Programs, Reentry and rehabilitative Services, directs and monitors all educational functions.
Directs all activities pertaining to educational operations of the Palmetto Unified School District (PUSD) within the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
Ensures inmates are provided quality academic instruction, and varying vocational training opportunities preparing them for successful reentry into society.
Oversee academic instruction in nine (9) EFA high schools, adult and vocational education in all institutions, while expanding DOL certified apprenticeship programs across the agency.
Demonstrates effective and motivational management and leadership; represents the school district in the administration of all federal projects.
