Gradient AI
Gradient AI is revolutionizing Group Health and P&C insurance with AI-powered solutions that help insurers predict risk more accurately, improve profitability, and automate underwriting and claims. Our SaaS platform taps into one of the industry’s largest data lakes—tens of millions of policies and claims—to deliver deep, actionable insights. Trusted by leading carriers, MGAs, TPAs, and self-insured employers, Gradient AI has grown rapidly since our founding in 2018. Backed by $56M in Series C funding, we're scaling fast—and it's an exciting time to join the team.
Overview About the Role:
We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant to partner closely with our sales, product, and data science teams to drive adoption of Gradient AI’s predictive analytics solutions, expanding beyond underwriting and actuarial use cases into care management, population health, and healthcare economics. This is an ideal role for someone with strong healthcare analytics experience who wants to apply that expertise in a client-facing, solution-oriented role.
How you will make an impact
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to support sales and partner with product and data science as we extend our Renewal Analytics and SAIL platforms into care management-focused solutions.
Participate in conversations with carriers, stop-loss organizations, and TPAs to understand their care management and population health priorities, and contribute to and evaluate solutions designs that meet those needs.
Evaluate solution layouts and demo environments, and develop presentation materials tailored to client use cases.
Participate in sales calls with prospective clients, demonstrating product capabilities and connecting them to client challenges.
Provide data-driven ROI stories, KPI analyses, and success metrics that illustrate solution impact.
Translate client feedback and market needs into actionable input for product development and implementation teams.
Clearly communicate commitments made in the pre-sales process to ensure alignment with delivery and implementation goals.
Skills needed to succeed
5+ years
of experience in a healthcare analytics, actuarial, population health, healthcare economics, or claims analysis role.
Commercial/employer group health experience required.
Comfortable collaborating with sales teams and engaging directly with clients in a consultative capacity.
Actuarial background or exam progress is a plus, but ASA/FSA is not required.
Experience evaluating or implementing care management programs or population health initiatives is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with R, Python, and SQL is a strong bonus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.

Generous stock options - we all get to own a piece of what we’re building.
Flexible schedule that supports working from home.
Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid paternal leave, and more.
Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
