Junior DevOps Systems Engineer in Boston, MA (Local Candidates) - no corps no visas - Financial services plus. Onsite 4 days a week; local to Needham area preferred. Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer Location: Boston, MA Type: Direct Hire/Full Time Client: Financial firm US Citizen and Green card only. No visa candidates, please, no corp structures. Responsibilities
Work with the team to design, implement, and manage the DevOps toolset Operate and maintain the DevTools ecosystem, including Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, BitBucket, Artifactory, and HashiVault Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability and scalability Perform regular application and infrastructure upgrades for the DevOps toolset Collaborate with development teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 2-3 years of experience in DevOps engineering Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with Jenkins, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, and HashiVault Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack Experience with secrets management (HashiCorp Vault) is a plus Onsite expectations
Working onsite in Needham 4 days a week; Boston is acceptable but Needham is preferred. Estimated compensation
