Opportunity Happens Here . Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using modern technologies and frameworks. Deliver high-performing, secure, and scalable solutions in a cloud-native environment (preferably Azure). Build and maintain RESTful and gRPC services, APIs, and event-driven systems using technologies like Kafka, EventHub, or ServiceBus. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Develop early prototypes of product components and rigorously validate them for technical design, security, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with Product/Application teams, peer architects, and partner organizations to evaluate, select, recommend, and configure technologies. Take part in production support and on-call rotations. Essential Skills and Qualifications
Abilities: Proven ability to design and deliver complex, production-ready solutions in agile environments, with deep expertise in data storage (RDBMS and NoSQL), microservices architecture, and event-driven frameworks (Kafka, EventHub, ServiceBus); highly collaborative, hands-on coder skilled at communicating technical concepts across teams and quickly adopting new technologies. Experience: 6+ years of professional experience developing modern, distributed web applications using C# (.NET Core 3.1/.NET 5+), ASP.NET, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure), with a strong focus on microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), API design, and contributing to scalable, reliable system architecture. Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science or related field. Location: This role requires you to be in the office 25% of the time in either our Boston, MA; Maitland, FL; or Milwaukee, WI location. Preferred: Experience as a technical team leader for a scrum team is a plus. Preferred: Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of APIs, UIs, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies. Ability to keep an end-to-end view when designing complex distributed solutions with a “big picture” approach. Ability to provide services to a variety of internal and external clients.
