Job Title: Battery Materials Characterization Technician/Engineer Location – Santa Clara, CA(Fully onsite) Duration – 12 months contract (with possibility of extension) Job Description: Conduct in-depth materials characterization and FA on silicon anode materials and battery cells Design and develop advanced silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries Collaborate with internal and external partners to scale up promising materials and process Deep understanding of electrochemical performance metrics, degradation mechanisms, and material interfaces. Required Hands-on experience with materials characterization tools (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Raman). Familiarity with battery cell design, prototyping, and testing protocols. Strong collaboration skills to work across materials science, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Bachelor, or M.S. or Ph.D in materials science, chemical engineering, electrochemistry or a related field 3+ year of relevance industry or academic research experience Client is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
