Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr This position requires U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Status. This role will lead the design, programming, and integration of advanced processing systems. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines, developing automation solutions for one-of-a-kind R&D and manufacturing tools. Responsibilities
Design and implement automation and control system architectures. Program PLCs (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and develop C# applications in Visual Studio. Configure and program HMIs for custom equipment interfaces. Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation. Configure networking protocols (EtherCAT, PROFINET, OPC UA, Modbus, DeviceNet). Lead automation projects, collaborate with engineers, and support commissioning/troubleshooting. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Automation, Controls, or related field preferred. 5 years minimum experience in automation engineering. C# programming and Visual Studio skills. PLC and HMI programming/configuration expertise (Beckhoff a plus). Hands-on wiring experience (low voltage, high voltage a plus). Ability to travel up to 25%. Seniority level
