As a Senior Project Manager, you will: Plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects while ensuring quality of work product and safety. Coordinate with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts. Manage project financials, delivery, and client relationships. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, planners, architects, and scientists to deliver complex projects in the Hampton Roads region and beyond. Assist in local marketing and business development, track future project opportunities, lead proposal preparation, and participate in interviews and presentations. Support growth of Jacobs Ports and Maritime practice in Virginia and beyond. Location
Potentially located in Virginia Beach, Richmond, Reston or Hampton, VA, as well as Baltimore or Silver Spring, MD. Role requires significant in-person collaboration with the Ports & Maritime team and client base in the Virginia Beach area. Relocation assistance may be provided. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering At least 12 years of experience in management of waterfront infrastructure projects Experience in design and design management of waterfront projects and facilities Ability to work with local and remote multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects and proposals Ability to manage contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables Experience in preparing technical and cost proposals to win projects Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders Ideally, you’ll also have Master’s degree in Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia or ability to apply for reciprocity or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience with cost estimating and services during construction Existing client relationships with port authorities or organizations involved in waterfront or coastal resilience projects Benefits and compensation information
