What you’ll be doing

Supporting Tive employees as a technical resource and assisting whenever our help is needed

Buying laptops and equipment for the Boston office and US Remote employees

Onboarding and offboarding employees, such as setting up accounts and laptops, and laptop retrieval

Resolving IT requests submitted by employees through our service desk portal

Working on projects to improve the technical infrastructure at Tive

Maintaining security policies and practices Tive employees should be adhering to

Documenting IT practices by creating knowledge base/how-to pages for future use

Helping our People Ops team with office maintenance tasks for the first few months

Qualifications Must haves -

2 or more years of experience working in the IT field at a business or organization

General knowledge of technologies including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, networking, cloud storage, collaboration tools, service desk, etc.

Experience configuring and working in cloud-based business systems, such as GSuite, Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Zoom, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities

Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding employees (including shipping equipment and equipment retrieval)

Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to haves (bonus) -

Experience with identity service providers such as JumpCloud, Okta, or OneLogin.

Experience with password manager solutions such as LastPass, 1Password or KEeper.

Experience supporting Ubiquiti networking devices (firewalls, switches, and wireless access points)

Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance and auditing (Vanta).

Familiarity with software deployment and patch management from an MDM

Any IT certifications such as A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.

Additional Info

Ability to work with remote employees in other time zones outside of EST when necessary

The role is expected to work a range of hours between 8:30am - 4:30pm EST

The role is expected to work physically in the Boston office

The role is expected to work from the office 5 days a week during the first 3 months of 2026, and open to a hybrid schedule afterwards
