Task Force General Manager

MCR Hotels . In collaboration with above property leadership, the Task Force General Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel, executing the preventative maintenance process, achieving objectives for profitability, guest satisfaction, and product quality. Responsibilities
This role is for a road warrior with 100% travel. Provide leadership and management for all hotel personnel and ensure the health, safety and welfare of guests and employees. Collaborate with corporate support teams (Execution, Human Resources, Sales, Pricing) to develop and deliver the execution plan for the property. Escalate challenges preventing the hotel team from executing processes and procedures daily. Optimize financial performance using tools, systems, and guidelines provided. Maintain all levels of service in accordance with directives from regional leadership. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations as well as Company and brand standards. Coach, counsel and motivate employees effectively. Provide hands-on leadership to maximize revenue while controlling expenses. Meet all financial review dates and corporate programs on time. Tour operating departments daily and adjust via department heads. Read and evaluate financial reports. Ensure department heads meet staffing levels and weekly schedules. Ensure training in service standards in each department using the steps to effective training. Process invoices daily using the approved accounts payable platform. Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the property through inspections and preventative maintenance with department managers. Interview all prospective final candidates for vacant positions prior to offers. Provide consistent, documented feedback to foster professional internal growth. Maintain front-of-house presence during peak check-in/check-out to drive customer satisfaction. Complete required corporate training modules and become certified to train as required. Other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications
Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must live at the assigned hotel until the next assignment. Ability to travel 100% of the time. Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures. Ability to evaluate and select among actions quickly and accurately. Work well under stress and maintain composure and objectivity. Effective listening, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns of coworkers and guests. Ability to work with financial information and basic arithmetic. Valid driver’s license required. Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing. Clear communication of information and ideas. Desire to serve all guests. Meet legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (at select properties). Preferred Qualifications
