The Associate Director, IT- Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response is responsible for leading efforts in detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats and incidents. This role works across Cybersecurity, IT, R&D, corporate and business functions and external partners, and leads the team responsible for identifying and maintaining necessary cyber tool capabilities. You will report to Baxter’s Senior Director of Cyber Operations and will manage the Incident Management and Cyber Tools Engineering teams to ensure 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and threat-resilience of identities, digital assets, infrastructure, products, manufacturing plants and sensitive data. What you\'ll do

Direct 24X7 cybersecurity operations teams—Incident Response and Tools Engineering—to continually improve processes, protocols, and systems for detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber threats Ensure effective communications and timely, coordinated responses during enterprise, product, or third-party cyber incidents or breaches, minimizing damage and recovery time Direct the continual improvement and execution of the organization\'s Incident Response strategies, playbooks and runbooks for responding to threats and optimize the use of security tools (SIEM, XDR, SOAR, case management) Lead collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and PR teams to manage the organizational response to major security events and maintain regulatory compliance Ensure the organization has vital tools to supervise, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats in real-time and influence defense strategies Establish and maintain cybersecurity metrics and KPIs to inform defense efficacy across enterprise and product ecosystems Work with Cyber Architecture to ensure scalable, reliable security infrastructure and harmonize security tools and platforms What you\'ll bring

10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in leadership Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field Proven leadership in cybersecurity operations with deep technical knowledge of threat hunting, investigation, and incident response Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience managing diverse teams Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with strong decision-making and crisis management Industry engagement and working groups is a plus Baxter is committed to flexible workplace policy with location-based requirements. Compensation includes a base salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 annually, with potential bonuses and incentives.
