Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Maternal Fetal Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Kings County Hospital operates a Level I Trauma Center and serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. Opportunity Details
Daytime schedule, with flexibility. Provide prenatal care to high-risk obstetric patients. Assist in operative cases including pre-, intra-, and post-operative care and provide postpartum follow-up for high-risk obstetric patients. Perform non-stress testing and limited obstetric ultrasound (optional after completion of ultrasound course). Provide direct gynecologic and preventative care to patients in ambulatory and inpatient settings based on department needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neonatology, anesthesiology, cardiology, social services, and other subspecialists) to enhance perinatal care coordination. Participate actively in departmental quality improvement (QI) and patient safety initiatives. Promote a culture of safety through open communication and debriefing with multidisciplinary team members. Qualifications
Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant. Current certification issued by the NCCPA. Certified in External Fetal Monitoring. Current BLS certification. DEA Registration. Wages and Benefits
Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836, based on 40-hour work week and years of state licensure. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary and other factors as set forth below: 401(k) company contribution (subject to IRS limits): immediate 3% contribution of base earnings with no employee match; after one year of service, an additional 7% contribution with no employee match. Annual CME reimbursement. Generous annual paid time off (PTO): vacation, sick, holidays, CME. Medical, prescription, and dental coverage with employee contributions. Life Insurance and AD&D coverage equal to 2x salary up to $300,000, provided at no cost. Additional employee-paid voluntary life and AD&D coverage for employee and family.
