Director, Business Development and Sales – DoD - Remote | Herndon, VA - Earth Observation Herndon, VA, Colorado Springs, CO or Los Angeles, LA Are you ready to influence the future of space-based intelligence for national defense? We’re working with a cutting-edge Earth Observation organization supporting critical U.S. government missions through advanced data and technology solutions. They’re now hiring a Director of Business Development to focus on strategic growth within the U.S. Space Force, as well as broader DoD and intelligence agency markets. This is a hands-on leadership role driving opportunity identification, capture strategy, and trusted client partnerships. Key Requirements
Lead pipeline development and capture strategy for key USSF programs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product-to-mission alignment Forge long-term relationships with military, government, and industry leaders Deliver accurate forecasts, competitive assessments, and market insight Influence classified program growth and participate in solution design Represent the company in key industry forums and events Key Responsibilities
10+ years of direct experience working with USSF, USAF, or related DoD/IC orgs Experience working with technical programs tied to space operations, ISR, or GEOINT Deep knowledge of SDA, JCO, TacSRT, and space-based ISR frameworks Proven track record of winning and expanding complex government sales Active Top Secret/SCI clearance (with CI Poly eligibility) Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities This is a high-impact opportunity to drive meaningful outcomes in defense and intelligence while leading strategy in one of the most dynamic sectors in aerospace.
