Perry Hall Animal Hospital in Perry Hall, MD, is seeking to add a 4th veterinarian to join our practice. We are an appointment-only small animal practice. Appointments are 30 minutes for sick and wellness visits and 60 minutes for consults/second opinions. Urgent/same-day emergent appointments are considered on a limited, case-by-case basis. Critical patients are referred to a local emergency clinic for overnight care, and there is no after-hours on-call or emergency duty. New graduates are welcome. We offer a unique 12-month mentorship program with tailored communication guidance, a well-rounded curriculum, and personalized support from a dedicated veterinarian mentor. Day-to-day duties may include appointments and/or surgical/dental procedures. Scheduling is flexible to fit individual preferences. Work with a team of highly skilled technicians (including 4 experienced RVTs). The majority of technicians have been with the hospital for over 7 years. Collaborate on patient care within a supportive, team-centric environment. Facilities and resources
Comprehensive in-house laboratory / IDEXX reference laboratory partnership Digital radiology with imaging consultation availability Mindray ultrasound machine and access to traveling veterinary ultrasound service Dedicated surgical suite with isoflurane anesthesia, up-to-date monitoring equipment, and electrocautery Dental unit with two high-speed handpieces and digital dental radiography in a dedicated dental suite On-site Heska lacuna cytology/blood smear analyzer Companion laser therapy Compensation and benefits
