Position Details
Job title: Speech-Language Pathologist (On-Site)
Location: San Jose, California
Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
Grade Levels: TK - 8th grade students
Compensation: Starting at $56/hour (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other settings.
Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote development.
Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and related information accurately and timely.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Current ASHA certification required
Experience providing speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency with assessment tools and therapies used in pediatric SLP
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology (preferred)
