Overview
Duke Dermatology is seeking dermatologists to join the faculty in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area with a focus on clinical practice. Opportunities include primary patient care with the option to pursue teaching and other scholarly work tailored to career interests. Candidates should have an interest in education and/or research, with potential for leadership roles if desired. The department supports individual academic and clinical interests.
Responsibilities
Patients four days per week with an administrative and academic day
General dermatology with opportunities for specialty interests
Work in state-of-the-art facilities with a diverse patient population
Collaborate within and across departments; participate in mentorship programs
Deliver exceptional, compassionate care for patients with skin disorders, including complex cases, while upholding ethical standards
Minimal call, rotated among all Dermatology Department faculty
Qualifications
All levels of experience are encouraged to apply (including new graduates)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiasm and professionalism
Interest in education and/or research; commitment to the values of academic medicine
Compensation & Benefits Duke Health offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity and academic excellence. Salary and faculty title are commensurate with training, experience, and the focus of the role.
