If interested in applying, email [email protected] your resume.Position: Business System Analyst Location: Hybrid - 2x a week onsite in Vienna, VA Hours: Regular business hours Compensation: $140,000-$145,000/yr Job type: Full time, 6 month contract with the potential to extendResponsibilitiesWork with business partners to understand functional needs for technology solutions.Identifying and eliciting business requirements (e.g., needs, objectives, functions, features, input and output)Determine operational objectives by analyzing business functions, evaluating output requirements and formats.Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve system automation; plan, coordinate and implement software change/release to Controlled Testing and Production, obtain required approvals as scheduled, and transition project to ProductionAnalyze, define, and document technical design for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating systems environment, interface with other systems, internal and external controls and outputPartner with business partners and vendors to improve procedures, resolve problems, and implement initiatives; presents conclusions and recommendations to managementConduct root cause analysis to identify development opportunities and recommend applicable business solutions Ability to create/update configurations and understand technical requirementsCompetenciesAbility to think strategically and analytically. A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experienceSignificant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issuesSignificant experience in leading collaborative work teamsExperience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impactSignificant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goalsAdvanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAdvanced organizational, planning and time management skillsAdvanced skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulationsAdvanced skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutionsSignificant experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflowSignificant experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiativesAbility to utilize Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, Visio, OneNote, PowerPoint.Desired QualificationsMortgage experience - Black Knight Mortgage Servicing Platform (MSP) Configuration experience - OnBase (Hyland) and Prokey (Paradatec) Experience with Real Estate SystemsAgile/SCRUM Experience SAFe Certification Product OwnerAzure Dev.
