Provide structure around site safety with superintendent and subcontractors. Raise awareness of potential hazards that exist on a jobsite by reviewing what can be done to minimize risk. Conduct regular safety audits throughout the duration of a project assessing all safety related issues and follow up with the project team. Assist subcontractors with site safety needs via toolbox talks, safety checklists, job hazard analysis, etc. Communicate directly with subcontractors to discuss concerns and Shawmut's expectations. Maintain the information technology and systems that are essential to capture and analyze key data, present reporting and communicate effectively. Develop and maintain strong relationships with every member of the project team, subcontractors and clients. Conduct new hire safety orientations. Uphold Shawmut Values and 16 Best Practices. Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of OSHA construction standards. Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or related experience preferred. Prior safety or construction-related internship a plus. Additional Information
