Overview

External Reporting Controller – Analyst within the Securitized Products Group (SPG) Finance & Business Management (F&BM) organization. Responsible for ensuring the integrity and validity of financial statements and controls over the external reporting of SPG activities within the Markets division of the Commercial & Investment Bank. SPG engages in acquiring/originating, warehousing, securitizing consumer and other financial assets, and markets, finances, underwrites securitizations, and structures/trades in derivative products linked to securitized assets. The role focuses on regulatory capital and RWA submissions and supporting the group with timely, accurate reporting and strong control environments. Job Responsibilities

Complete ownership of Basel III Regulatory Capital / RWA, including securitization exposures (SFA, SSFA), Traditional Credit Products (TCP) exposures, Available-for-Sale (AFS) exposures, Market Risk exposures, and Retail exposures. Serve as primary point of contact for RWA and Capital with the business, providing transaction support/guidance and liaising with Regulatory Policy. Maintain control, oversight and integrity of the financial statements and end-to-end control around external reporting. Collaborate closely with line-product control teams to ensure completeness of processing and reporting. Reconcile balance sheet to RWA and verify proper treatments based on activity and structure. Produce submissions for Regulatory and External Reporting (e.g., FFIEC 101, FR Y-15, LLC-specific Legal Entity reporting). Understand key reports and reporting requirements, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. Adhere to stringent controls and standards across processes, including continuous process review, audits, robust documentation of procedures, controls and key metrics. Contribute ideas for improvements and actively participate as a team member. Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. Strong technical skills and experience handling large data sets (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and commitment to control. Experience in a controller organization. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a logical, tenacious approach. Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives with competing deadlines. Self-motivated with initiative-seeking attitude. Knowledge of fixed income products. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

Accounting/Control experience with professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACA, CIMA). CFA charter holder. Understanding of Balance Sheet and Capital. Familiarity with Basel 2.5 and Basel 3 capital regimes. About Us
