MID CENTCOM Energy Analyst
to join our team in
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC
in support of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities-including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment-to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition official. Job Responsibilities: Conducts analysis of foreign oil, natural gas, nuclear, solar, wind, and other forms of energy production and distribution systems to determine physical characteristics, capacity, and vulnerabilities. Conducts analysis of foreign electric power systems to include, but not limited to, generation, distribution, related control systems, usage, physical characteristics, capacity, and vulnerabilities. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience or 7+years of equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience producing all-source intelligence analysis reports and briefings and input to IC databases Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefings Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with energy infrastructures, systems, resources, facilities / installations, networks, and equipment. Energy infrastructures may include electric power, oil, and gas production / generation, transmission, and distribution systems along with oil and gas reserves Experience with network development tools and methods Knowledge of electric power plants and associated equipment Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards Knowledge of the CENTCOM AOR To Apply for this Position: You must have the Minimum Qualifications in your resume to be selected as a candidate.
