Overview
Contra Costa County Health Services Department is seeking to fill one Rehabilitation Therapy Services Supervisor position that will be based at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) located in Martinez, CA. This position requires travel between two therapy clinics located in Pittsburg and San Pablo, CA.
The Rehabilitation Therapy Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising and instructing a team of Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Therapy Assistants (TAs), and support staff of therapy aides and clerks. They participate in program development and performance improvement projects and activities to meet standards of care according to the CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agency standards. They are also responsible for conducting staff meetings regarding policy and procedures, safety practices, documentation, and reimbursement issues.

Current Physical Therapy License issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California OR current Occupational Therapy License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy OR current Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the State of California Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
Experience:
Two (2) years of full-time, or its equivalent, experience in the practice of occupational, speech, or physical therapy in a hospital, clinic, psychiatric or similar facility.
Desirable Qualifications:
Demonstrable clinical expertise
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Management and supervisory experience
Advanced computer skills
