Provide technical assistance pertaining to the formulation, production, quality and testing of new and existing products and processes. Responsibilities

Partner with sales on new product requests, designing, testing, prototyping new solutions. Lead laboratory development work including formulation and process design. Develop new product technology transfer scale up plan, including production process specifications, and quality metrics. Collaborate with Operations on new product scale up implementation and ongoing production efficiency improvements. Work cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, and Operations to reduce inventory and disposition costs. Provide training and work direction for process technicians. Perform duties that may include lifting, handling, or operating production equipment. Produce product specifications, including Manufactured and Shipping/Receiving specifications, for all products and non-prepackaged materials to meet customer needs. Provide on-site technical support for Operations and Manufacturing staff, requiring periodic travel and extended hours. Conduct general product maintenance as required. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology) required. 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of chemicals and manufacturing processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; active listening, problem solving, and relationship skills. Familiarity with production/laboratory instrumentation; troubleshooting, training, startup, validation, maintenance (including HPLC, ICP-OES, pH, conductivity, spectrophotometers, auto-titration systems). Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; ability to quickly learn new software as required. Knowledge of experimental design and statistics preferred. Ability to work independently. Travel

Up to 20% travel expected. Physical Requirements

During duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation: $70,000-85,000/year + 5% Bonus Eligibility.
