In this hybrid role, you'll collaborate in our state-of-the-art lab equipped with cutting-edge communications and next-gen R&D tools. Your work will focus on enhancing subsea communications by developing intelligent optical systems that optimize performance during commissioning and predict potential degradation to recommend timely remediation actions. You'll engage with cross-functional teams, including DSP, Systems, and SW engineers, while directly interfacing with customers. Design and develop innovative software solutions to optimize subsea optical links for enhanced performance and reliability. Create user-friendly interfaces to facilitate customer-facing software for efficient commissioning of EDFA and RAMAN backhaul links. Develop algorithms to monitor cable aging, execute retesting, and ensure seamless recommissioning of subsea cables. Implement smart algorithms to upgrade existing cable systems while maintaining live traffic for uninterrupted service. Conduct GN model simulations for accurate commissioning and predictive analysis of customer's subsea cable systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and stakeholders to address challenges and drive project success. Contribute to hands-on customer demonstrations in our demo lab to showcase software capabilities and solutions. Proven software experience in .NET, Python, and Matlab Expertise in optical power flow analysis In-depth knowledge of RAMAN and EDFA control systems Proficiency in GN model implementation Nice to have

Experience with GPU coding Familiarity with simulation tools for optical networks Understanding of telecommunications protocols What we offer
