Overview
The Assistant Director for the UCR College Corps Program plays a vital leadership role in advancing the University's commitment to student success, civic engagement, and community impact. Reporting to the College Corps Director, the Assistant Director supports the daily operations and long-term development of a statewide service-learning initiative that places undergraduate Fellows in community-based roles across the focus areas of Education, Food Insecurity, and Climate Action. Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of Fellows and site partnerships, ensuring recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and supervision are carried out with excellence. Coordinate targeted outreach campaigns, facilitate orientations and professional development sessions, and serve as a primary liaison to community partners. Through site visits, ongoing communication, and compliance monitoring, ensure placement sites meet program standards and Fellows receive the support necessary to achieve their service and academic goals. The full salary range for Assistant Director for the UCR College Corps Program is $53,100 - $89,700 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $62,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Requirements
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Policy and Compliance
As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
