Marvin is hiring a Territory Manager to represent us within the local market. Through market research, customer engagement and education you will contribute to Marvin’s sales growth and support our purpose: to imagine and create better ways of living. This role requires relationship building and strategic problem solving within a company and sales team driven by the spirit of possibility. Highlights of your role
Develop channel partners who will effectively cover all market segments within geography and increase Marvin’s market share Implement strategic sales plans; develop territory budget and sales forecasts Develop channel partner sales teams and pro trade contractors through training on market segments, sales support, technology tools, product knowledge Regularly analyze current channel partners and create plans to grow market share, either within the existing dealer base or by exploring better go-to-market approaches Collaborate with dealers, builders, general contractors, architects, and remodelers to communicate Marvin’s projects, services, and offerings clearly and effectively Responsibilities
Manage the job role’s expense budget Develop and maintain positive relationships with decision makers using creative problem solving, accurate information, and timely responses Assist in the development of new sales programs and processes Represent Marvin at assigned trade and consumer shows Communicate strategic and tactical information to sales leadership regarding competitors in the territory and region Promote and coordinate factory tours and training at the corporate/flagship location in Warroad, MN Frequent travel throughout the assigned territory, including some overnight stays Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience Premium building products experience in a dealer-direct, territory-based outside sales environment Previous experience in fenestration or premium building materials preferred Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Solution-oriented and innovative thinking abilities Ability to work with required technology and CRM platforms (Salesforce) We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin
