Senior Business Analyst (Digital Products & Web Platforms)

Contract The organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support web platforms, CMS workflows, and Contentful authoring. This role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders, manages backlog health, leads refinement sessions, and collaborates with UX, development, and cross-functional teams to deliver guest-facing digital experiences. Responsibilities
Own the Backlog Act as Product Owner across web initiatives, responsible for backlog quality and day-to-day refinement. Maintain a consistent pipeline of refined user stories ensuring stories are ready for PI planning and sprint planning. Write detailed, testable user stories with acceptance criteria and traceability to business goals. Flag dependencies, blockers, gaps and edge cases proactively. Own ticket triage, story clean up, release notes, and Confluence documentation.
Lead Discovery and Requirements Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture business needs. Translate high-level goals into epics, features, and detailed user stories. Define functional and non-functional requirements and edge cases.
Provide CMS and Contentful Expertise Support content authors and marketers using Contentful, acting as first line support for questions and issues. Troubleshooting problems, component limitations, tagging inconsistencies and other real-time issues. Work with developers to escalate bugs or contribute to component enhancements. Ensure new features and content models are clearly documented for non-technical users.
Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams Run refinement, planning and demo sessions in partnership with product, PMO and Engineering. Collaborate with UX on Figma handoffs, validations and ensuring designs match business context and user stories. Drive content strategy discussions, layout optimizations and scalable tagging practices.
Facilitate Testing and Delivery Partner with QA to validate functionality, write test cases, and support UAT. Own release note creation and knowledge transfer to content authors or business users. Track staging and production changes and notify content authors of go-lives.
Connect Data to Decisions Analyze data trends, user behavior, and VOC to uncover improvement areas. Create documentation (e.g. process flows, data mappings, integration specs). Serve as SME for web products and workflows.
Enable Scalable Product Practices Champion consistent documentation and templates across teams. Partner with Product Ops to evolve BA practices. Contribute to team-level OKRs.
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, or similar role on digital teams. Skilled in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios. Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies. Proficient with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, ADO (Azure DevOps), or similar. Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Contentful preferred; Sitecore or Adobe also accepted). Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Preferred
Content modeling experience or Contentful certifications. Experience with design systems and reusable web components. Familiarity with personalization, SEO, tagging strategies, or localization workflows. Exposure to analytics and web tools such as GA4 and Storybook. About the Company / Equal Opportunity
