Associate Director of Field Training and Optimization Overview Organon’s US Commercial Team is seeking an Associate Director (AD) of US Field Training and Optimization to be part of a centralized function that drives successful business performance across our diverse US Business Units, spanning both pharmaceutical and medtech/med device portfolios. This role provides impactful Training and Optimization support to our field-facing teams.

Responsibilities

Cultivate insights through connection with Business Unit (BU) field teams, including in-field observation, interaction, and training delivery.

Design and deliver training programs and optimization tactics customized to BU needs and business priorities.

Evaluate training needs from each business unit and prioritize areas for development.

Enhance and deliver new hire curriculum and training.

Plan and deliver live internal engagements, such as national sales meetings, Phase Two new hire training and virtual training sessions.

Develop and deliver selling tools and resources for each sales team. Work with third-party training vendor(s), as needed, for support.

Conduct regular field observations, complete coaching reports, and follow up with direct supervisors, as needed.

Develop monthly insight reports highlighting common themes observed from the field and HCPs.

Provide monthly competitive intelligence updates on new approvals, promotional messages, or threats.

Lead workshops for live, virtual, and LMS-based learning, overseeing relevant content as the subject matter expert.

Collaborate with sales leadership to identify skill and knowledge gaps and update adoption cycles and selling models.

Lead and guide the Field Sales Trainers (FST) in meeting goals while mentoring representatives to top-tier execution.

Required Experience And Skills

Minimum of eight years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and/or medical device industry.

Proven track record in a customer-facing role such as field sales or field sales management or account management.

Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills, potentially including previous experience leading workshops at sales meetings or new hire classes.

Strong familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or medtech Sales and Marketing processes and regulatory/compliance environment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Familiarity with adult learning and upskilling approaches and best practices.

Ability to travel up to 25%.

Additional Details Annualized Salary Range (US): $125,400.00 - $213,100.00
