Silver Hill Energy Partners is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Division Order Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves maintaining accurate records of oil and gas ownership interests in operated and non-operated properties, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of revenue to interest owners, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has division order experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Maintain and update division of interest ownership records and systems. Review and analyze title opinions, leases, assignments, and related documents to accurately determine interest ownership. Prepare and distribute division order packages to interest owners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Calculate and validate revenue distributions and royalty payments to interest owners based on lease terms and production data. Collaborate with land, accounting, and legal departments to resolve ownership discrepancies, title issues, and other related matters. Coordinate with external partners, such as mineral owners, landowners, and attorneys, to address inquiries and resolve any disputes or issues. Monitor and track changes in ownership, transfers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Professionally respond to royalty owner inquiries through phone, written or electronic communication. Stay updated on industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to division order administration. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and system enhancements. Required Experience / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in division order administration within the oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of division order processes, title opinions, and lease agreements. Proficiency in using division order software and other industry-specific tools. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations governing division order administration. Familiarity with royalty payments, working interest, net revenue interest, and other ownership concepts. Experience with land and legal documentation, including title opinions, assignments, and conveyances, is preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
