As Financial Controller, you will oversee all accounting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory financial standards. Monitor and enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes; prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process. Oversee the physical inventory process at stores and warehouses; ensure accuracy and accountability. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures; ensure internal controls and consistency. Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering growth and continuous improvement. Qualifications

Hybrid position with alternating weeks in office and remote work. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required. At least 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting, including 5+ years as a Controller in multi-unit retail or similar leadership role. Large-scale ASC 842 accounting experience for private companies is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience with general ledger, month-end/year-end close, and preparation of financial statements. Experience with purchase accounting is preferred. Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments. Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Storis experience a plus). Knowledge of IRS partnership accounting is a plus. Benefits & Perks
