FABRICATION SHOP IN CATOOSA SEEKING HEADER WELDERS We are seeking a skilled ACHE Header Welder / Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates must be self-motivated and committed to producing high-quality work. Responsibilities
Interpret and follow weld procedures and blueprints accurately, including weld sizes and dimensions. Perform quality welds on air-cooled heat exchanger headers, including corner joints. Fit and weld components such as plug boxes and cover plates to precise standards. Operate overhead and jib cranes; must have basic rigging knowledge. Work collaboratively with Quality Control to ensure compliance with ASME standards and fabrication drawings. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality. Be adaptable in welding styles and willing to assist with tasks such as fitting nozzles or wrapper plates when required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, wearing required PPE at all times. Exposure to high noise, dust, fumes, or particles as part of the job.
