We are seeking a seasoned Security Architect who can roll up their sleeves to deliver day‑to‑day while shaping the company’s long‑term security posture, standards, and technical strategy. You will have the autonomy to influence across engineering, operations, product, and executive stakeholders, and the opportunity to grow into a leadership role as the security team expands. Role Overview
The Cyber Security Architect will operate as a hands‑on, senior individual contributor responsible for designing, reviewing, and advancing security architecture across cloud, infrastructure, identity, and application domains. The architect will work cross‑functionally with engineering and technology leadership to embed security into all stages of the software development and operations lifecycle. Responsibilities
Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments. Define and maintain enterprise security reference architectures and standards. Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices. Architect and optimize IAM, PKI, encryption, and zero‑trust solutions. Collaborate with engineers and executives to communicate risk and recommend mitigation strategies. Select, pilot, and integrate new security technologies and automation platforms. Mentor technical teams and evangelize secure design principles across the enterprise. Qualifications
Required (Must‑haves): 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in architecture or equivalent technical leadership roles. Deep expertise in cloud, network, and identity security design. Hands‑on experience implementing controls in AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency with NIST CSF, CIS, ISO 27001, OWASP, or MITRE ATT&CK frameworks. Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills. Experience influencing senior leaders and guiding cross‑functional teams without direct authority. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC. Experience with zero‑trust architecture, container security, or microsegmentation. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, CMMC, or PCI‑DSS. Background in secure software design, DevSecOps, or automation scripting. What You’ll Gain / Why This Role Is Unique
