Overview
Our client is looking for a
Senior Architect - Civic & Justice . As a Senior Architect, you will develop solutions to technical problems and lead multiple projects through the design process, production of construction documents, and construction administration as part of a project team.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in all aspects of the design process including: Programming, Master Planning, Conceptual, Schematic and Design Development presentations, 3D modeling, and the technical proficiency to successfully implement designs through the CD/CA phases.
Benefits and Compensation
Base salary of $110 - 145k

Responsibilities
Design Phase Work : Responsibilities include participating in design phase activities and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project.
Manage Project Delivery : Assist with proposals, develop design concepts, and produce complete documentation.
Coordinate & Review Work : Oversee consultants, ensure code compliance, and maintain quality standards.
Support Construction Phase : Handle RFIs, site visits, punch lists, and drawing reviews.
Client & Admin Tasks : Maintain client relationships, document project communications, and assist with contracts and change orders.
Qualifications
BS in Architecture
Architectural license in at least 1 state
Minimum 12 years of industry experience
Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SpecLink, Newforma, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign
Experience in Civic & Justice building typologies is strongly: Correction facilities, Jails, Prisons, Detention Centers, Courthouses, etc. Other experience includes: municipalities, police and fire stations, city and county buildings, and other public works/public safety buildings.
Good knowledge of MS Project, Newforma Project Center, Deltek / Vantagepoint, and LEED and WELL requirements
