We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst to join our Clinical Applications team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Epic build, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The analyst will play a critical role in supporting surgical and anesthesia workflows, ensuring system integrity, and driving clinical efficiency. Key Responsibilities
Epic Configuration & Optimization: Design, build, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules. Translate clinical and operational requirements into Epic configuration. Ensure system settings align with organizational standards and compliance needs. Configure department- and system-level settings, including charting reminders, procedure documentation, and anesthesia-specific workflows such as intraoperative workspace, billing, device integration, and third-party application connectivity via SFTP. Collaborate with clinical teams to identify opportunities for workflow improvement and automation. Maintain consistency across environments and ensure build decisions are well-documented and communicated. Support system-wide go-live and optimization efforts and post-live stabilization. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Anesthesia SMEs and clinical business managers to gather requirements, validate workflows, and align with operational goals. Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to advance project initiatives by refining requirements, aligning priorities, and ensuring timely deliverables. Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test plans for new builds and upgrades. Identify and resolve system issues with minimal disruption to operations. Document testing outcomes and communicate resolutions. System Maintenance & Upgrades: Evaluate Epic upgrades and new features for relevance and impact. Coordinate implementation and communicate changes to stakeholders. Maintain documentation of build decisions and system configurations. Support: Respond to support tickets and troubleshoot issues within SLA timelines. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for clinical and technical staff. Support the application team in progressing standing work requests and managing high-priority incidents during business hours. Travel: Travel required for 2–3 weeks in November 2025 to support go-live stabilization. Must be able to work on-site with clinical teams and stakeholders during travel periods. Qualifications
Epic Certification in OpTime and Anesthesia (held for at least 3 years). Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Epic build and implementation experience post-certification. Strong understanding of anesthesia workflows, including documentation, procedure coordination, and clinical decision support. Experience supporting system-wide go-live and optimization efforts, including readiness planning, build validation, and post-live stabilization. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Skilled in developing clear and comprehensive reference materials—including build guides, workflow diagrams, and training documentation—for both clinical and technical audiences, supporting internal team knowledge base expansion.
