The VP of Culligan Business System (CBS) and Strategy at Culligan Quench is a pivotal role requiring strategic foresight and program leadership. The role leads the development of strategic plans, manages multiple priorities, drives execution of strategic initiatives through a structured management system and cadence, and aligns across functions with the ELT and SLT using the company’s Strategic Deployment Process (SDP). Work hands-on with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities, build business cases, define projects, establish success metrics, and enable execution. Lead cross-functional collaboration, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver value and ensure the SDP and other CI efforts are effectively executed. Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Partner with and challenge the ELT to develop the vision, refine the Long Range Plan (LRP), and lead the annual SDP development and execution. Ensure alignment with business objectives and operationalize SDP initiatives. Business System Leadership and Management: Lead the SDP process, develop business cases and project plans, track KPIs and countermeasures, facilitate governance meetings, and provide executive reporting. Embed the SDP as the core mechanism to run the business. New Operational Opportunity identification and business continuous improvement: Work with ELT/SLT to assess opportunities, define value cases, prioritize and execute initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across processes. Lead integration planning for large-scale initiatives as applicable. Leadership and Collaboration: Identify capability gaps, manage change, and deploy best practices with CoEs. Ensure cross-functional engagement and accountability for project outcomes. Requirements
Must have: Proven track record in leading strategic planning and driving transformational initiatives with measurable impact on top and bottom lines. Experience managing complex product solutions with strong planning, prioritization, and multi-stakeholder project management in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical skills and ability to develop value cases and execution plans; capable of formulating comprehensive business cases for opportunities and improvements. Experience in M&A integration; excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence decision-making through analysis and trade-off assessments. Personal attributes: highly motivated, innovative, collaborative, strong communicator, data-driven, pragmatic problem solver with integrity and accountability. Preferred experience: minimum 15 years in progressive roles; background in strategy consulting, private equity, or investment banking; BA/BS; MBA desirable.
