In this dynamic role, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions, streamline processes, and deliver impactful financial analysis. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions and foster collaboration between therapeutic areas and capabilities, making a real difference in how we operate and grow. Key Responsibilities
Standardize and execute centralized processes across therapeutic areas to streamline operations and ensure compliance Conduct financial analysis to drive operational efficiencies aligned with evolving business needs Act as liaison between Finance Brand and Capabilities Teams to ensure alignment and collaboration Consolidate brand financials and manage Central Finance Template requests Standardize reporting processes across therapeutic areas for consistency and clarity Partner with budget owners to proactively manage and optimize expense plans Identify and communicate expense risks and opportunities with actionable insights Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate resource performance and effectiveness Share knowledge and best practices across teams to foster continuous improvement Support departmental and ad-hoc initiatives to enhance strategic operations Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline (MBA or CPA/CMA preferred) 3+ years of finance experience, ideally in pharmaceuticals or business planning and analysis High learning agility and attention to detail with a desire to develop deep subject matter expertise Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to simplify complex data Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both finance and non-finance audiences Proven ability to influence decision-making and present to executive leadership Advanced Excel skills Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in cross-functional team environments Desirable Requirements
Experience with SAP BPC, SAP BW, and Qlik for advanced financial analysis and reporting Familiarity with the US pharmaceutical industry and external market dynamics impacting financial planning Compensation and Benefits
Novartis Compensation Summary: The salary for this position is expected to range between $93,800.00 and $174,200.00 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits.
