Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Commercial Property Manager
to oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and tenant relations for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role is critical to maintaining asset value, maximizing occupancy, and ensuring a positive tenant experience. Location: Matthews, NC. Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties (office, retail, or industrial) Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring high levels of service and retention Coordinate all maintenance, repairs, and vendor services to ensure buildings remain in top condition Prepare and manage annual budgets, CAM reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting Ensure timely rent collections, resolve delinquencies, and enforce lease terms Partner with leasing agents and ownership to support leasing efforts and tenant build-outs Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with all local regulations and safety standards Manage capital improvement projects, renovations, and vendor bidding processes Negotiate and manage service contracts for janitorial, landscaping, security, and other third-party services Additional tasks and responsibilities as required Qualifications
3+ years of commercial property management experience required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred Strong financial acumen and experience managing property budgets and operating expenses Knowledge of lease administration, CAM, and property tax processes Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, etc.) What We Offer
