Associate Director Recruitment Accounting & Finance — International Industry Leader, North Jersey. Are you a numbers-driven pro with a passion for manufacturing finance? Looking for a Cost Accountant to own and optimize our cost and inventory accounting processes while partnering closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams. You'll drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. What You’ll Do
Lead monthly, quarterly & annual financial closes for costing/inventory modules Analyze and review standard costs, manufacturing variances, and inventory valuation Collaborate with ops to reduce variances and evaluate excess/obsolete inventory Roll up your sleeves on reconciliations, journal entries, and audit prep Oversee plant capital budgeting and support SOX controls compliance Mentor and coach the cost accounting team Interface with auditors, supply chain, plant directors, and finance leadership Travel between two plants on a rotating basis What You Bring
Bachelor’s in Accounting (MBA/CPA a big plus) 7+ years in cost accounting & financial reporting (3+ in a lead role) Excel super-user; familiar with Outlook, Teams, Word Solid grasp of variances, overhead absorption, standard costing & COGS Skilled in closing cycles, reconciliations, and inventory analysis Seniority level
