Manager, Accounting Advisory – Operational Accounting

Accounting Advisory Services

You’ll work on high-impact projects that modernize finance functions and improve scalability. Your day-to-day may include: Advising CFOs and finance executives on finance transformation strategies, GAAP alignment, and scalable growth Leading transformation workstreams across Office of the CFO initiatives, including close optimization, forecasting, FP&A, and internal controls Designing and implementing process improvements, automation, and data analytics solutions Leveraging tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and ChatGPT to deliver data-driven insights Supporting M&A transaction integration, financial reporting, and system implementation projects Partnering with third-party providers to deploy finance technology solutions Coaching and developing team members in a collaborative, high-performance environment What You’ll Bring

Some things we typically look for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related field CPA or CFA preferred 5+ years of experience in management consulting or finance leadership, ideally with private-equity-backed companies Deep understanding of US GAAP, FP&A, operational finance, and internal controls Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with ERP, CPM, and financial governance tools (e.g., Blackline) Expertise in data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL) Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Proven leadership in client advisory and transformation engagements Why DLA
