Overview
Optum FL is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Slidell, LA. This role features a 4.5-day work week with no overnight call and a $30,000 sign-on bonus. You will be part of a physician-led, patient-centered team focused on quality care as we support community health initiatives. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you'll be part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone and will have access to clinical resources, data, and support of a global organization to help patients live healthier lives. Responsibilities
Provide primary care services to adults in a team-based, quality-focused environment Collaborate with APRNs, RNs, and a Quality Improvement team to deliver high-quality care Utilize data and care-delivery resources to support patient well-being and outcomes Contribute to practice ideas and initiatives that improve care for patients across the community Maintain a patient-centered approach with emphasis on autonomy to practice at the top of your license Qualifications
Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license Valid DEA and CDS licenses (or ability to obtain) Preferred Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification 1+ years of clinical experience in adult, family, or geriatric care Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $226,000 - $366,000.
