Overview
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, with a focus on residents of Wards 7 and 8 having access to high quality care in their community.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to manage the overall operations of the medical imaging department.
Oversee staff, budgets, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop policies, coordinate patient flow, manage equipment, and foster collaboration with other departments to maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
Lead the Radiology/Imaging department as a full-time Director position.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's degree in related field preferred
7 years of professional experience demonstrating progressive leadership in Medical Imaging
Skills
Extensive knowledge of radiology procedures, equipment, and technology
Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and implement cost-saving measures
Experience in diagnostic imaging and a background in administrative leadership
A bachelor's degree in a related field; an advanced degree may be preferred
Proven managerial skills and experience as an imaging technologist
