Overview
Staff Nurse / 36 Hours Variable Night / Divisional Critical Care Float Pool ICU The Staff Nurse will be responsible for: Providing care for patients in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool. Covering long term assignments in critical care areas, including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit. Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Divisional Critical Care Resource Pool as assigned. Cover long-term assignments in critical care areas including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care. Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Experience:
1 year of med/surg Nursing experience required. ICU experience is preferred. Interest in being cross-trained over time to cover long-term assignments in critical care areas including Medical ICU, Burn Trauma ICU and Coronary Care Unit is desirable.
Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in specialty area is encouraged. Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
