The Manufacturing Specialist - Material Plan & Execution is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of material flow to support manufacturing operations. This role involves managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) priorities. Role & Responsibilities Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules and forecasts.
Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials to meet manufacturing needs.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
Address material-related issues promptly to avoid disruptions in production.
Identify opportunities to streamline material planning and execution processes.
Support lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to align material planning with operational goals.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure materials handling complies with regulatory requirements.
Promote a culture of safety in all aspects of material planning and execution.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing role).
Additional Information Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP).
Familiarity with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in material planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Safety-first mindset.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
The base pay range for this position is
$90,500.00 - 113,100.00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on
