Overview Consultant

This position will involve effectively supporting project tasks in a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) project or workstream.

Responsibilities

Responsible for support efforts through various phases of a project with assistance from other project team members.

Work alongside the client SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and provide support for the financial processes that are developed within the application.

Provide high quality work product.

Coordinate with Finit project team on tasks and responsibilities necessary to effectively meet project milestones and communicate status on a regular and timely basis.

Demonstrate basic ability to identify workstream tasks and understand interdependencies between workstreams.

Execute data reconciliation efforts as directed.

Ability to conduct end-to-end testing of system components and functionality.

Escalate project risks to project leadership on a timely basis.

Willingness to assist in all areas that will help drive project success.

Build and develop authentic client and Finit relationships.

Ensure a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects.

Provide real-time on-the-job feedback to team members. Communicate openly with clients to obtain real-time feedback.

Participate in internal Finit activities.

Assume ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.

Skills

Consultants will typically have 2+ years' experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.

Basic understanding of functional knowledge areas, including financial statements, financial ratios, planning and budgeting concepts.

Basic understanding of multidimensional concepts.

Basic understanding of financial terminology and of financial and accounting functions within an organization.

Excellent written and verbal skills, and capability of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.

Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Energized by projects with high degree of uncertainty.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise consistently good judgment.

High competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

Previous OneStream experience a plus.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.

CPA a plus.

Remote Workplace Employees at Finit primarily work remotely. Our consultants may have some travel requirements to client locations. Our main corporate office is located in Cincinnati, OH and may be used for collaborative work.
