A research fellow position is available in the Department of Radiation Oncology. The Mutter lab seeks a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative post-doctoral fellow. The individual will engage in basic and translational research training aimed at improving the lives of patients with cancer at Mayo Clinic. The Mutter lab discovers tumor-specific therapeutic targets and develops novel combinatorial approaches to overcome treatment resistance, including manipulation of the DNA damage response and host immunity. The team also investigates new biomarkers of response and resistance to radiation and other cancer treatments. Qualifications

Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. The Research Fellow position is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere. A Ph.D. is preferred. Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $64,079 - $74,963 per year; education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; Pre-Tax Savings: HSA and FSAs; Retirement package. Exemption Status: Exempt Schedule
